Meet Our Speech + Language Team

Marina, M.S. CCC-SLP
Marina, M.S. CCC-SLP is the lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Lama Pediatric. She was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She attended Florida State University where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and went on to pursue a Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University in Speech-Language Pathology.
She has a passion for working in pediatrics and has experience working in the private setting, home healthcare setting, public/private school setting, and daycare setting. Much of her experience has been in serving pediatric patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and patients with Augmentative and Alternative Communication needs.
She also enjoys working with children who have speech and/or language delays and has a passion for finding the most functional form of communication for her patients.

Jenifer, M.S. CF-SLP
Jenifer, M.S. CF-SLP is a bilingual speech therapist. She was born in Miami and received her bachelor's degree from FIU. She worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for two years after receiving her undergraduate degree.
She went on to received her Master's of Science in Speech Language Pathology at DePaul University. She has over 5 years of experience working with pediatric patients in the clinic, home, and school settings. Most of her experience is in bilingualism, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Language Disorders, Fluency, Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC), and Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is a native Spanish-speaker and fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). She believes bilingualism is a beautiful superpower.
She also thinks that it is important for her to make sure she centers her treatment around the goals of the families she serves, and to make therapy functional and a fun experience!

Courtney, M.S., CCC-SLP
Courtney received her Masters of Science from Nova Southeastern University. She works full time as a school-based SLP but assists Lama Pediatric Therapy with after school needs.

Alexia
There is a lot of behind the scenes at work with our team! Alexia is our Administrative Assistant. She is your point of contact when starting the therapy process and for all things scheduling.
Meet Our OT Team

Brianna
Brianna is an Occupational Therapist with a Master of Science degree from Keiser University. She has worked in pediatrics for four years with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing, fine motor and visual deficits.
She is passionate about helping children and families accomplish their goals through personalized care plans. Brianna enjoys working with local charities, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
Her goal is to continue learning and growing as a therapist at Lama Pediatric Therapy.

Lisa
Lisa has been an Occupational Therapist for over 8 years. As a graduate of Queens University in a Kingston, Ontario, Lisa has worked as an OT in both Canada and the USA. Lisa has worked with many populations but has a true passion for pediatrics.
She has been the Director of Therapy for a pediatric outpatient clinic and has overseen over 100 therapists. She is currently the Regional Director of Rehab with a therapy company focusing on the geriatric population. Lisa has assisted in building the OT program at Lama Pediatric Therapy and has been with us since 2021.

Shaquana
Shaquana is a 2017 graduate of Keiser University Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Shaquana had previously obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. She has experience working with kids and adolescents with ASD, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delay, and Cerebral Palsy. Shaquana discovered her passion for working with children as she began her first job at the age of 16 as a summer camp counselor. She is very elated about using her knowledge and abilities to help others and make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families.
Meet Our ABA Team

Amy, MA, BCBA
Amy, M.A., BCBA is a Behavior Analyst at Lama Pediatric Therapy. She graduated from the University of West Florida with her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in August of 2020.
She also has her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of South Florida, and spent 8 years as a (SLPA) Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
Amy has experience in the clinical and public school settings working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and speech/language disorders.
